Archie is a passionate farmer working at the intersection of land use, science, and strategy.

He works as a Primary Industries Consultant with WSP, delivering technical and strategic advice across land use change, soils, and farm systems. His work supports landowners, councils, and agribusinesses to make informed, resilient decisions grounded in science and practical on-farm realities.

With a Master of Management in Agribusiness and a strong background in farming, Archie brings a systems-thinking approach to rural challenges – from farm efficiency to diversified land use.

Originally from the Tararua region, Archie has a deep-rooted connection to New Zealand’s farming communities. He’s committed to supporting the sector to thrive through change, while maintaining its unique strengths.

He’s excited to contribute to FFYN, bringing a red meat perspective, and helping represent future-focused thinking across the primary industries.
